For the past two weeks I've been completely unplugged in North Truro, MA along lovely Cape Cod Bay. This rugged area just a few minutes by car along route 6A from Provincetown is just about the best place on the east coast for a family vacation. The place we rented was right on the bay. Behind us was Pilgrim Lake and the dramatic parabolic dunes that backed the ocean. This is the second year we've traveled to the Cape and I think it's going to become a tradition. Going completely unplugged is the only way to get any rest these days. I leave everything behind. The only things I took with me were my digital camera and my new marine GPS to track my kayak trips in and around Cape Cod Bay. The cell phone and laptop were left behind.
