Conversations are what the web is all about. I think conversations are what everything is about. Cluetrain infected me with this idea. So why do some bloggers/webloggers/serial web posters never put their email addresses, or have some way to comment about what you just read on their blog? I don't really expect the blogger to write back, acknowledge, or even read what I would send as feedback, but at least there is some chance for an actual conversation to happen. It kind of reinforces some of the ideas in Jon Katz's latest piece on slashdot, Browsing Alone. Does anyone have any insight? It makes me nuts.
